โš™๏ธ Technical Notes (What to Expect)

All counting happens client-side using JavaScript. No text data is transmitted anywhere. The tool uses regex-based counting optimized for performance on texts up to 100,000 characters.
Sentences are detected by terminal punctuation marks (. ! ?) followed by whitespace or end of text. This is a heuristic approach and may differ slightly from manual counting in edge cases like abbreviations.
Any character with a code point above 127 is counted as Unicode. This includes accented letters, emojis, CJK characters, Arabic, Hebrew, and other non-ASCII scripts.
The tool supports up to 100,000 characters. The limit indicator turns amber at 80% and red at 95%. Input beyond the limit is automatically truncated.
